Celestine Omin a Nigerian software engineer said he was made to seat for a written test by custom officials as he arrived John F. Kenny  airport United State, to prove he was truly an Engineer.
"I was just asked to balance a Binary Search Tree by
JFK immigration. Welcome to America". He tweeted.
The  28 - year old Engineer said he was taken to a room where he was asked to  write the test. He said he was not prepared for the test and was exhausted from his trip. He was still asked to write it anyway.

Omin, in his response to an interview by Linked- in said :"Every single time I asked  the official why he was asking me these questions, he hushed me.... I have not slept for 24 hours , I wasn't prepared for this. If I had known that this would happen before hand, I would've tried to prepare".

The official looked at it and concluded it was wrong because he expected an exact answer with what he obviously must have checked for through the internet.

The engineer who works at  Andela  a soft ware company in Lagos said, at that moment he thought he would not be allowed into America.
Surprisingly, the border official said "Look I am going to let you go, but you don't look convincing to me."
Omin said" I didn't say anything back , I just walked out." He later realised that the border official had called Andela to confirm before letting him go.
